A guide for players and parents · updated October 2026
Colleges post camps in waves, a few months before they run. For soccer, winter and spring ID camps appear between November and January, and summer camps between February and April. Baseball and softball prospect camps cluster in the fall and early winter, after fall practice, so many are posted by late summer.
Popular camps fill early, so it pays to check from the start of each wave rather than a few weeks before.
ID and prospect camps in ID Season's data, by the month they start (this season's posted camps plus last season's, which show the usual timing):
| Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Soccer | 47 | 28 | 17 | 16 | 16 | 81 | 89 | 41 | 11 | 60 | 76 | 39 |
| Baseball | 19 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 5 | 9 | 12 | 12 | 57 | 46 | 15 | |
| Softball | 19 | 2 | 3 | 9 | 13 | 9 | 30 | 26 | 26 |
Busiest months: soccer Jul, Jun, Nov; baseball Oct, Nov, Jan; softball Oct, Nov, Dec. Counts grow through the year as colleges post more camps.
Last year's dates are the best guide to this year's: most programs run their camps at about the same time each season. ID Season shows last season's dates for every program until the new ones are posted.
ID Season puts the ID and prospect camps of every US college soccer, baseball and softball program (6,352 programs) on one map and calendar, checked every night.
